I have heard of research companies paying for people to do research and evaluations of products from home and be compensated for it. I would like to find more info on this type of part time work.

That being said some companies that allow you to work from home requiring a fee to allow you to start your own business aren’t all scams – sadly many MLM companies ruined it or gave people the “wrong” idea.
Best bet is google or pick up the June addition to the magazine Success From Home –
find a product you love and there is a need for – you build a client base and a team and in months – ? You could be quite successful – it is work, it is at home – be sure with your fee you know what you are getting – (training?), discounts etc.
